Nationwide Recall Issued for Eye Care Products; Consumers Urged to Discontinue Use Immediately

UNDATED (WKRC) — Several eye care products sold across the U.S. are being voluntarily recalled due to potential safety risks linked to manufacturing issues.
BRS Analytical Service, LLC announced the consumer-level recall following an audit by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that uncovered deviations from current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards. These deviations may compromise product quality and pose potential risks to users.
The recalled products include:

Polyvinyl Alcohol Ophthalmic Solution (NDC# 50268-678-15)
These products were distributed between May 26, 2023, and April 21, 2025. Consumers are urged to stop using them immediately.
Customers are asked to fill out the “Quantity to Return” and “Customer Information” sections of the recall notice and return the form by fax to 931-292-6229 or via email to customerservice@avkare.com—even if they no longer have the products in their possession.
